About True Level Builds

What is “True Level”?
A true level surface is one that is perpendicular at every point to the plumb line, such as the mean sea level or the geoid (the still liquid surface of the Earth).

In 2021, we changed our name from True Level Interiors to True Level Builds to better represent who we are and what we do.

 

Construction Origins

The earliest construction tools were made from natural materials such as bone, hide, stone, wood, grasses, animal fibers, and water. These simple tools laid the foundation for the incredible engineering feats we see today.

 

Did You Know?

• Oldest Home in the USA: The Fairbanks House in Dedham, Massachusetts, built between 1637 and 1641, is the oldest surviving timber-frame house in North America. Built by Puritan settler Jonathan Fairbanks, it remained in his family for eight generations and now operates as a historic house museum.

• Göbekli Tepe, located in southeastern Turkey, is considered the oldest known man made monumental structure in the world. Dating back to around 10,000 BC, it predates iconic ancient sites such as Stonehenge and the Pyramids of Giza.

• One of the Deepest Buildings: The Jinping Underground Laboratory in western China sits 7,900 feet (2.4 km) beneath a mountain, about the height of seven stacked Empire State Buildings. This unique facility enables experiments in extremely low radiation conditions, focusing on dark matter and neutrino physics.
